Sophie (the cat) kept stealing her socks when she first moved in.... Sophie did that to Tim, too, when we first got her. We finally had to give her her own sock, rolled into a ball, to play with. It was a favorite toy for about 6 months. I have no idea where that sock ball is now! :)

It sounds like Sophie is jealous of new roommates, whether they come by birth or marriage. :-)

i think i'd prefer all dogs to sophie. ginny is ok.
