the manger at my store was in a serious car accident early saturday morning. after attempting to change a flat tire, he realized his jack was too small. he called his dad for assistance. a cop had pulled over at some poin, but andrew told the officer his dad was on the way. while andrew and his dad were working on the car, an 18 wheeler sideswiped them killing andew's dad. the driver didn't stop and authorities are investigating the hit and run. andrew is at porter hospital undergoing spinal surgery today.
i don't know if his family members are belivievers or not. regardless, please keep the sajda family in your prayers during this devastating time. i will post updates as they are passed along to me.

thanks for reading my blog. andrew's surgery was successful. he was fitted for an upper body cast today. some of the co-workers we able to visit him today. apparently the doctors are projecting a wednesday release (previously estimating a week stay in the hospital). what a blessing. thanks for the prayers. :)
